GLENDORA, CA (September 2, 2021) – Early in the morning on Wednesday in Glendora, Jeremy Hollings–who is an officer with the Los Angeles Police–was seriously injured in a crash on the 210 Freeway. The September 1 crash occurred in the freeway’s westbound lanes, close to Grand Avenue.

The time was roughly a little before 5:30 a.m., the California Highway Patrol said.

According to reports, Hollings had been traveling on a patrol motorcycle–described as a BMW–and going to work. A collision occurred between the motorcycle and a vehicle–described as a Ford F-250 pickup truck–that had been traveling on Hollings’ right-hand side.

The motorcycle Hollings was riding went into the path of a vehicle–described as a pickup truck–that was in the HOV lane, according to reports.

The motorcycle and the pickup collided. Responders arrived and transported Hollings–who is 42 years old–to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center.

Hollings suffered injuries that were described as major. His current condition is not known.

The other drivers involved in the incident have not been identified in reports. No one else was hurt in the crash, reports say.

Investigators are continuing their work on the incident.
