Hit-and-run Driver Injures Woman on “G” Street in Sherman Heights Area of San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (August 18, 2021) – Early in the morning on Tuesday, a hit-and-run driver struck and injured a woman in San Diego. The August 17 crash occurred in the Sherman Heights area, on G Street in the 2100 block.
The time was roughly 2:15 a.m., according to San Diego Police.
According to authorities, the pedestrian had been going across G Street, and a vehicle–which has not been described–struck her. The driver did not stop to help the victim, or remain at the crash site.
Responders transported the patient to the hospital. She suffered injuries that included a broken leg.
Her identity, including name, age, and city of residence, has not been reported.
Investigators are searching for the vehicle, and the suspect driver, who has not been described.
