Highway 101 Crash at Cuesta Grade in San Luis Obispo County Causes Damage

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, CA (January 28, 2022) – Early in the afternoon on Wednesday in San Luis Obispo County, two vehicles collided on Highway 101. The January 26 crash occurred on the southbound side of the roadway at the Cuesta Grade, where Reservoir Canyon Road is located.

The time was roughly 1:40 p.m., the California Highway Patrol said.

According to authorities, a vehicle–which has not been described–attempted to execute a U-turn. It collided with another vehicle, which has also not been described.

Reports do not say if anyone was hurt in the crash.

Investigators are working on the details and information regarding the incident. No other details are known are this time.
