Gardena Crash at W. Redondo Beach Blvd. Kills Man, Injures Two

GARDENA, CA (October 19, 2021) – Early in the morning on Tuesday in Gardena, a solo-vehicle crash killed a man and injured two other people. The October 19 crash occurred where West Redondo Beach Boulevard and South Normandie Avenue intersect.

The time was a little after midnight, Gardena Police said.

The vehicle–which has not been described–was the only vehicle involved in the crash. Reports do not say how the crash happened, or what the vehicle struck.

Responders arrived to help, but one man died at the crash site. His identity, including name, age, and city of residence, has not been reported.

Responders transported two other people to the hospital. The types of injuries the patients suffered, and their current condition, are not known.

The identities of the two people have also not been reported. The driver has not been identified.

Investigators are in the process of collecting information and details to understand why the crash happened.
