The black Toyota Camry hit an outside wall and then crashed through the front door at about 9 a.m. The driver, an elderly woman, according to witnesses, said that she failed to hit the brakes as she tried to park her vehicle.

“I believe it was just a mistake, an accident,” said Garden Grove police Sgt. Doug Pluard.

The restaurant, located on the 11100 block of Garden Grove Boulevard, remained open after the accident, although employees roped off the damaged area. The building was deemed safe by a building inspector.

The driver had her license revoked until she can get it renewed by a test from the DMV.
