A multiple car collision in the northbound lanes of the 57 freeway near the Ball Road exit injured one person, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident allegedly occurred when the sedan attempted to switch lanes without using a turn signal. It hit another vehicle and then flipped on its side at about 9:15 p.m. on Friday.
One person was transported to the hospital and several others were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The crash blocked the carpool and two middle lanes, while crews hurried to clean the accident. Gasoline spilled all over the freeway, causing a hazardous situation.
