Car and Motorcycle Crash on 5 Freeway in Santa Fe Springs; One Killed
SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA (May 12, 2022) – Late in the afternoon on Tuesday in Santa Fe Springs, a crash on I-5 killed a person. The May 10 crash, involving a motorcycle and a car, occurred on the northbound side of the freeway, south of East Florence Avenue.
The time was roughly 4:05 p.m., the California Highway Patrol said.
No details have been reported on how the crash happened, or what led to the crash.
Responders arrived and pronounced one person deceased at the crash site. The identity of the victim, including name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported.
