Two Men Die When Car Crashes into Tree
An accident in Sun Valley left two men dead after the car they were riding in smashed into a tree and trapped them inside it, according to fire officials.
The crash occurred at about 4:30 p.m. near the 14400 block of North San Fernando Road. They were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Sepulveda and Balboa boulevards were both closed as a result of the accident, while crews worked to clean up the damage and investigate the crash.
No other injuries were reported and it is believed that no other vehicles were involved in the accident.
The incident is still under investigation.
