Two-Car-Collision Leaves Family Injured on the 405
Two adults and two children were critically injured on the southbound I-405 near the Seal Beach Boulevard exit.
The accident occurred at 2:03 p.m. when the two vehicles collided, causing one of the vehicles to roll off the edge of the freeway. The collision happened about 100 feet south of Seal Beach Boulevard.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
Several people on the roadway pulled over to help the victims and removed them from the wreck. Two children were airlifted to the hospital and the adults were taken by ambulance.
The driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital as well.
The off-ramp and two lanes were closed until 3 p.m.
