Rialto Two-vehicle Crash on 210 Freeway Kills Two People

RIALTO, CA (September 21, 2021) – Early in the morning on Sunday in Rialto, two vehicles collided on the 210 Freeway, killing two people. The September 19 crash occurred on the eastbound side of the freeway, in an area between Ayala Drive and Alder Avenue.

The time was roughly 3:45 a.m., according to authorities.

Two vehicles–which have not been described–collided, reports say. The manner in which the crash occurred has also not been described. The two vehicles rolled over in the crash.

Responders arrived and found two people died in the crash. The identities of the two people–including their names, ages, genders, and cities of residence–have not been reported.

It is not known if the people were traveling in the same vehicle or one in each vehicle. The driver of each vehicle has not been identified in reports.

Investigators are working to understand why the crash happened, and what factors or circumstances may have contributed. They are continuing to collect information and details.
