Police Seek Public’s Help with Information on Hit-and-run Crash in Westwood

WESTWOOD, CA (December 14, 2021) – Authorities are continuing to search for information regarding a Westwood hit-and-run crash that happened in October. They are asking for help with information in the October 30 crash.

Police said the crash occurred on Beverly Glen Boulevard near Wellworth Avenue.

The time was roughly 1:55 p.m.

A woman had been walking across the road of Beverly Glen Boulevard, and a vehicle–described as a Hyundai Elantra, gray in color–struck her. The person who was driving the vehicle stopped momentarily, and left the crash site.

The incident was recorded on video by a surveillance camera, Los Angeles Police said.

Responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived to help, and took the injured woman to a hospital in the area.

She suffered injuries that were described as serious. Her identity has not been reported.

Investigators are continuing to search for the vehicle involved in the crash, and the suspect driver. If anyone has information about the crash, the person can call detectives with the West Traffic Division. The number is 213-473-0234.
