Pedestrian Was Hit By SUV in San Diego

San Diego, CA (December 9, 2018)- A man is recovering after being struck by an SUV that had been involved in a collision Sunday afternoon December 9th. The accident occurred in the San Diego neighborhood of Grant Hill just as the victim was stepping out of his parked vehicle on Imperial Avenue near 29th Street at around 12:20 p.m. when he was struck after two nearby vehicles collided into each other. The victim was transported by paramedics to a nearby hospital with what were thought to be major injuries. Police later stated the victim had only suffered minor injuries. A video of the incident showed a white SUV crashed into the driver’s door of a gray sedan. A white Cadillac with front-end damage was nearby. Police plan to review video surveillance footage from nearby businesses to see if they had captured the collision.
