One Person Seriously Injured after Toll Road Crash
A crash on the 241 toll road in Irvine left one person severely injured on Wednesday after their vehicle swerved off the road.
Deputies received reports of a crash at about 8 p.m. of a pickup that had careened over the side of a ravine near Alton Parkway, according to CHP officer and spokesman Gabe Montoya.
The vehicle rolled over multiple times before landing on its side. One passenger was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.
The northbound side of the 241 was closed while the scene was under investigation.
