Head-on Crash Involving Multiple Vehicles Injured 4 in South L.A.


Los Angeles, CA (October 11, 2018) – Several people were injured in a head-on crash that involved multiple vehicles in South Los Angeles late Thursday night, October 11th, Los Angeles Police Department said. The crash occurred shortly before midnight at the intersection of South Figueroa Street and West 135th Street, in the Harbor Gateway neighborhood. Four to five cars were involved in the crash that scattered debris and wreckage across the intersection. LAPD officers and emergency medical response arrived on scene promptly, with four people transported to local hospitals. Their conditions were unknown, an LAPD spokesperson reported. Following the crash, no arrests were made pending further investigation to the cause of the crash. The intersection was closed for several hours while cleanup and investigations were underway.
