Fatal Hit and Run of Wheel Chair Victim
In Fullerton, California, on Monday, August 14, 2014, a wheelchair victim who was crossing the street was hit by a car that kept going and did not stop.
The victim was approximately 60 years old. He did not cross the street in a marked area. The accident occurred in the 2600 block of Orange Thorpe Ave. some time before 12:00 A.M.
The victim was thrown over 150 feet.
The car in question was a white SUV. It was driving westward.
The accident is considered a felony as the driver left the scene of the accident.
Police are seeking additional information on the driver of the SUV and the whereabouts of the van.
