Drunk Driver Crashes Through Laundromat

The people washing their laundry at a downtown Laundromat got the scare of their lives when a drunk driver hit a parked car and then plowed through the front of the store.

The 27-year-old driver of a black Honda Accord was apparently speeding down Venice Boulevard with three passengers in her car at midnight, when she lost control of her vehicle.

The car crossed across several lanes before it hit a parked van and deployed its airbags.

The Accord then smashed into a Laundromat and Venice and Magnolia.

All of the people inside the car were severely injured, including one 17-year-old.

The driver’s blood-alcohol level was twice the legal limit.

No one inside the Laundromat was hurt.
