Driver Arrested for DUI after Big-Rig Accident

A driver was arrested for suspicion of drunk driving after she crashed into a big-rig on Tuesday night, according to the authorities.

The collision occurred at about 11:30 p.m. just north of Victoria on the southbound 55.

The accident happened when the driver of a Toyota RAV4 hit the back of a big-rig and then got stuck underneath the trailer.

The driver was taken to a local hospital and later arrested for drunk driving, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The Number 2, 3, and 4 lanes were all closed while police investigated the accident.
