Bus Crushes Cars, 6 People Injured

A BMW collided with a public bus in in Valley Glen on Friday morning and firefighters had to use the “Jaws of Life” to cut him out of his vehicle.

The accident occurred just after 9 a.m. on Friday near the 12600 block of Sherman Way.

According to witnesses, the black BMW sedan was traveling down Sherman Way when it crashed into the side of the bus. The sedan then became entangled in the passenger side of the bus.

A Scion hatchback was also involved in the accident when it hit the bus. The Scion was severely damaged.

The driver of the BMW was transported to the hospital in critical condition. A passenger in the Scion was also in critical condition. Four people aboard the bus were injured.

The incident is still under investigation.
