Apparent Hit and Run

There was an apparent hit and run at Santa Fe and Surrey Way. John Allen Wilson,, 47, had a collision with a car on Santa Fe and left the scene. He then hit a car which was stopped for a red light.

The driver of the car that was hit sustained minor injuries along with her 3 year old daughter.

Witnesses heard Wilson tell an officer that he was addicted to opioid substances.

Wilson was arrested and booked for driving under the influence, driving under the influence and causing injury, and hit and run.
