Bakersfield, CA (July 23, 2018) – A 34-year old woman died in a rollover crash after she lost control of her SUV ejecting her from her vehicle late Monday evening, July 23rd. California Highway Patrol were summoned to respond to reports of a collision a short time after 10:00 p.m. According to a preliminary investigation the 34-year old woman was driving northbound on Manor Street and China Grade Loop when for reasons unknown she lost control of the SUV and jumped the curb, smashing through a chain-link fence, where the SUV rolled over several times ejecting the woman before it came to a stop on a dirt field. From the investigation officials say that the woman was not wearing a seatbelt. The woman’s name was not released and officials don’t know for certain whether drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
