Monday morning had no major traffic accidents after almost 200 car accidents occurred over the rainy weekend. The storm hung over the Los Angeles area all day Sunday and left about a quarter inch of rain.

According to California Highway Patrol officer Gabe Montoya, there were 191 collisions of the roadways on Sunday. For comparison, there were only 86 collisions last Sunday.

On Monday morning a SigAlert was issued on the southbound 57 Freeway just south of the Lambert exit at 7:17 a.m. after a two-vehicle crash. The lanes were cleared immediately.

A vehicle crashed into the center divider on the southbound side of I-5 near Chapman Avenue just before the 57 Freeway crash.

The three occupants of that vehicle were uninjured.
