Both directions of the 405 Freeway were closed for a few hours on Thursday after power lines fells on multiple vehicles in Orange County.

The accident happened at the Magnolia Street exit near the cities of Huntington Beach and Westminster.

The California Highway Patrol reported that several vehicles were involved when they were hit by power lines. There was no indication of any injuries.

The lanes on the southbound side reopened at 4:30 p.m. Two of the left lanes on the northbound side have also reopened.

All traffic on the southbound side had to exit on Beach Boulevard and take Warner Avenue to either the PCH or rejoin the I-405 further on.

The northbound traffic had to exit at Magnolia Street and take McFadden before returning to the 405 at Beach Boulevard at the I-405 further on.
