Garden Grove, CA (October 23, 2018) – A man suspected of driving under the influence was arrested after a fiery crash early Tuesday morning, October 23rd, Garden Grove Police said. The incident occurred shortly after 1 a.m. when authorities responded to the intersection of Euclid Street and Main Street. According to reports, a driver who was southbound on Euclid Street lost control of his vehicle and veered into a light pole, a street light, and a bus stop bench. The vehicle was fully engulfed in flames with nobody in the vehicle, police said. Fire officials promptly extinguished the flame, and police authorities found the three occupants of the vehicle nearby. One passenger was moderately injured and transported to a local hospital for treatment, police said. The unnamed 24-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
