A pedestrian that was crossing Beach Boulevard was hit by at least two vehicles and later pronounced dead by Huntington Beach officials.
The accident occurred at about 11:20 p.m. on Sunday near the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Ellis Avenue, a Huntington Beach Police Department spokesperson said.
According to records, the driver of a 1988 Oldsmobile Tornado sedan hit the 64-year-old man while traveling in the southbound lanes. The pedestrian was then hit by a 2008 Ford Ranger pickup while he was lying on the ground.
The man has not yet identified and will not be, until police notify the next of kin.
