A collision, in which an alleged drunk driver was involved, resulted in five people injured on Thursday evening in Rancho Mirage, according to Riverside County sheriff’s officials, The Press Enterprise reports.

The Press-Enterprise’s news story states that the accident occurred on January 26, 2012, around 10:52 p.m. at Monterey Avenue and Shadow Ridge, and that 26-year-old Aaron Michael Kashola was booked for investigation of felony DUI resulting in injuries.
